The TamEvolution WILL be publicized; critics be damned.

The first photograph is me with Mayor Becky S. Smith of the City of Bessemer City during my 'Not an Exit' November showing (which has now been held over through December - yay!). The second is what I'm not comfortable showing. I am, like many middle-aged women, overworked in a career that is typically feast or famine that has really taken its toll over the last decade, i.e. - Artistry that includes painting, photography, and graphic/web design. Though I wouldn't change it for the world, I do need to change me, so I've made a conscious decision to do so.

Over two years ago I stepped away from eating meat and chose (in my opinion) a more compassionate lifestyle. I'm taking the next step in my evolution beginning an Ayurveda class by Jessica Vellela, a Certified Ayurvedic Physcian, at the Hive: Supplies for Arts & Living next Sunday. I'll be blogging the process in hopes of reaching my first goal by the first week in April; to perform a full session of yoga without needing a chair.

Most of you who know me intimately are aware I am a very private person so blogging is going to take a lot of courage. You are also aware of my diagnosed health issues, e.g. - asthma, crones disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. If you know these things, then you also know how determined I have been for to avoid the pharmaceutical cycle and treat with alternative, homeopathic remedies. These have kept me going and enabled me to work ( event photography is a bear physically); however, they are only treating the symptoms not the cause. It's time to address the cause. If you haven't been aware of these things, welcome to the circus.
